is a Jewish Canadian writer currently based in Toronto. She has a background in art history and the visual arts. She attended Central Saint Martins, UAL before graduating from OCAD University in Toronto with an Honours BA in Visual and Critical Studies. Her first thesis delved into the work of Amedeo Modigliani and how Jewish Diasporic Identity shaped his work, as well as the role of artwork and caricature in the public opinion of the Dreyfus Affair. In 2023, Hannah completed her MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London, with a First Class Honours. Her dissertation, titled in the quiet after, was long-listed for the 2024 Pat Kavanagh Prize in conjunction with Goldsmiths and United Agents.
Hannah is interested in storytelling as spellcasting, and exploring the many ways we relate to the world and each other through the stories we tell and the magic we weave.
